Update (2:00ET):

NYPD says the suspect is at large and the incident is NOT being investigated as an act of terrorism at this time.

NYPD describes suspect as a 5’5″ tall black male with a heavy build who was seen in a green construction-type vest and a gray hooded sweatshirt during the attack that occurred around 8:30 ET on the Manhattan-bound N-train.

A man opened fire during rush hour traffic at a Brooklyn train station, injuring multiple people, according to reports.

The media is reporting that the suspect was dressed in a gas mask with an orange construction vest.

The suspect has not been apprehended at the time of this writing.

Reports also claim there were undetonated devices found.

“Fire personnel responding to reports of smoke at the 36th Street station in the Sunset Park neighborhood found multiple people shot and undetonated devices, a New York City Fire Department spokesperson said,” AP stated.

“According to a law enforcement source briefed on the investigation, preliminary information indicated a suspect was dressed in construction attire.”

Politically, the timing of this shooting is advantageous to Joe Biden, who a day before pushed for more gun control.
