Musk Calls Out Fauci’s Gain-of-Function: ‘Should be Called Bioweapon Research As Function Referred is Death!’

Responding to a Twitter user posting about Dr. Anthony Fauci’s continuation of gain-of-function research after the Obama administration outlawed it domestically, the company’s new CEO Elon Musk suggested gain-of-function should be called “bioweapon research” going forward.

In the Wednesday morning comment, Musk also said the “function” being referred to in the term is “death” as the only thing being done is research to make viruses and diseases more lethal for humans.

“Fauci bypassed the moratorium on gain-of-function research to fund dangerous projects like EcoHealth Alliance’s work in Wuhan. He then worked internally to changed NIH’s definition of GoF to evade culpability. In 2022, he awarded more $ to Peter Daszak for more GoF research,” wrote Twitter user Year Zero – Rory Biller.

In response, Musk wrote, “‘Gain-of-function’ should be called ‘bioweapon’ research, as the function referred is death! What was the name changed to this time?”

The conversation began after software engineer Marc Andreessen posted a screenshot where someone asked the popular AI site ChatGPT if Anthony Fauci has ever lied and the software responded by claiming it “is not accurate or fair to say” he has ever lied.

To this post, Musk simply replied with a link to a 2021 Newsweek article titled, “Fauci Was ‘Untruthful’ to Congress About Wuhan Lab Research, New Documents Appear To Show.”

Adding to his Newsweek response, Musk pointed out Dr. Fauci’s wife oversees the ethics division of the NIH, a fact many people still don’t know.

He also posted a 2021 Yahoo News article touching on Fauci’s support of gain-of-function research, writing, “Important to note that Fauci authored 2012 paper arguing for gain-of-function research! Obama wisely put this on pause, but Fauci restarted it.”

Next, the new Twitter CEO revealed the old company staff actually had an internal messaging board called the “Fauci Fan Club.”

This thread comes after the latest round of Twitter Files was released Monday, revealing the Biden administration pushed the social media giant to censor Covid-19 information countering the official mainstream narratives.
