Leftist NBA icon Kareem Abdul-Jabbar lashed out at Brooklyn Nets player Kyrie Irving Sunday, bashing the point guard for sharing a video of Alex Jones warning about the New World Order releasing plagues and viruses to control mankind.

In a Substack piece sharing his thoughts on various news items, Abdul-Jabbar, 75, summarized the topic as, “Kyrie Jones posted on Instagram a 2002 video clip of Alex Jones expressing a conspiracy theory regarding a ‘New Word Order’ out to profit on our misery.” [sic]

After establishing he already thought ill of Irving for refusing to take the experimental mRNA Covid jab last year, Abdul-Jabbar claimed the Nets player’s latest Jones scandal was beyond the pale.

“Irving is back and more destructive, insensitive, and just plain silly than before,” the 7’2” former LA Lakers player wrote.

“He decided it would be a good idea to post a 2002 video clip from Infowars founder Alex Jones. Yeah, the guy who has been on trial for denying the Sandy Hook shootings and who previously admitted in open court that he’s a performer and his onscreen persona is just a character (that bilks millions of dollars from unaware viewers).”

The famous basketball dribbler incredibly went on to deny the existence of a secret cabal of international bankers attempting to enslave humanity via engineered crises.

“The main gist of the clip is a warning about a cabal of international leaders who are secretly releasing plagues on the world from which they can profit,” Abdul-Jabbar wrote, adding, “(Of course, we know who really profits from making this claim.)”

(Clearly, Abdul-Jabbar is uneducated on the subject and would benefit from reading Alex Jones’ latest book The Great Reset.)

“Alex Jones is one of the most despicable human beings alive and to associate with him means you share his stench,” he continued.

Abdul-Jabbar went on to praise other influential sportsball players that have toed the political line to his satisfaction, including Chinese minion LeBron James and racial divider Colin Kaepernick.

“Kyrie Irving would be dismissed as a comical buffoon if it weren’t for his influence over young people who look up to athletes. When I look at some of the athletes who have used their status to actually improve society—Colin Kaepernick, LeBron James, Muhammad Ali, Bill Russel, Billie Jean King, Arthur Ashe, and more—it becomes clear how much Irving has tarnished the reputations of all athletes who strive to be seen as more than dumb jocks.”

Proposing a solution to Irving’s “destructive behavior,” Abdul-Jabbar encouraged readers to email his sponsors and have him banned by the brands that endorse him.

“Irving does not seem to have the capacity to change, but we have the capacity to keep fighting against his brand of destructive behavior. One way to do that, beyond shaking our heads and nasty tweets, is to write to his sponsors and tell them to drop Irving—or you will drop them. Nike has likely decided not to renew his contract past this season. But he is still sponsored by Pepsi and 2K Sports. (Don’t feel bad for Irving: his career earnings at the end of the 2022-’23 season will be $230 million. That buys a lot of Yes-people.)”

Last month, Irving stirred controversy after he shared a 41-second video, titled, “Never Forget – Alex Jones Tried to Warn Us,” on his Instagram stories timeline.

In the video, Jones says, “The facts and common sense are in. Yes, there have been corrupt empires. Yes they manipulate. Yes there are secret societies. Yes there have been oligarchies throughout history.”

Jones continues: “And yes, today in 2002, there is a tyrannical organization calling itself the New World Order pushing for world wide government, a cashless society, total and complete tyranny. By centralizing and socializing health care the state becomes god basically when it comes to your health. And, then by releasing diseases and viruses and plagues upon us, we then basically get shoved into their system where human beings are completely worthless.”

It’s important to note how angry leftists immediately try to destroy and censor Irving simply for thinking differently than them, whether it’s for sharing a controversial social media post, espousing anti-Covid vaccine viewpoints, or having any other belief that strays from the mainstream.
