NBA Team Cowers To Liberal Mob After Backlash Over Video Stating Only Women Can Give Birth

The NBA’s Toronto Raptors issued a public apology after posting a video for Women’s History Month last week saying only females can give birth.

While the dedication to women was an accurate and heartwarming ode, some woke leftists were outraged at the idea that trans women cannot give birth.

The pro-woman video begins with a Beyonce song called, “Girls Run The World,” while Raptors players tell the camera why they think women run things.

One player says, “Girls run the world because they are the only ones that can procreate,” and another adds, “They birth everybody.” 

These simple remarks caused a storm online among left-wing sports writers, which pushed the franchise to issue an apology.

“We’re an organization that prides itself on doing the right thing when it comes to inclusion and representation, and we made a mistake (Tuesday),” the team’s statement reads. “Our sincerest apologies to our players, our staff and our fans – we’ll work to do better today and every day after.”

Local newspaper The Toronto Sun slammed the organization for releasing the Women’s History Month clip, writing, “For an organization that prides itself on equality, inclusion and diversity with their actions in the community and their own hiring practices, this one left a real mark.”

The People magazine Twitter account called the video “cringeworthy.”

Twitter user Molly Morrison, who specializes in basketball-related content, asked who the hell approved the video.

Writer and podcast host Jackson Roberts said the Raptors bungled their Women’s Month goodwill.

Last month, an NBA player was fined for saying, “No homo,” after he made a remark about his teammates being good-looking.

The big sports leagues are being used by the establishment to shove their freaky Marxist agenda down the throats of people who simply want to be entertained.
