NBC News offered some bizarre advice to cash-strapped Americans dealing with Joe Biden’s inflationary policies: don’t buy a turkey and see less people for Thanksgiving.
Yes, really.
“While we’re on the topic of something that could be controversial: perhaps forgo the turkey,” said NBC News correspondent Vicky Nguyen on Monday.
“Bear with me, I know that is the staple of the Thanksgiving meal, however, some people think turkey is overrated, and so it tends to be the most expensive thing on the table.”
Nguyen went on to encourage not getting a turkey because that could mean less guests and family to enjoy the holiday with — in the name of saving money, of course.
“Maybe do an Italian feast instead. And I will say this: if you tell everyone you’re having a Thanksgiving without turkey, some guests may drop off the list and that’s a way to cut costs, too,” she said.
This isn’t the first time NBC tried whitewashing Biden’s horrible economic policies.
Last week, NBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle insisted inflation wasn’t a big deal because Americans can afford to pay more.
“And the dirty little secret here, Willie, while nobody likes to pay more, on average we have the money to do so,” Ruhle claimed.
And days before that, in a now-deleted tweet, MSNBC claimed Biden’s inflation was actually a “good thing.”
This is what happens when the corporate liberal media can’t objectively cover Biden’s disastrous far-left policies that are financially squeezing the American people.
MSM has to pretend the economy is fine, but that YOU need to make radical and unreasonable adjustments to your life to deal with the aftermath of rampant inflation, which has just hit a 31-year high.
The last thing these people want are families gathered together to celebrate a uniquely American tradition.
