On Tuesday President Donald Trump announced six new judicial nominees beginning the process of filling the 46 lifetime vacancies on the bench. Four of the six will fill seats in Missouri.
Recently, Leftist activist judges have made headlines by blocking the President’s America First agenda, particularly the deportation operations. Taking to his social media platform Truth Social on Wednesday, the President lambasted the latest attack by an activist judge.
“Our Court System is not letting me do the job I was Elected to do,” Trump wrote. “Activist judges must let the Trump Administration deport murderers, and other criminals who have come into our Country illegally, WITHOUT DELAY!!!”
While federal judges appointed by previous presidents battle Trump with lawfare, new judges are in the pipeline which will conceivably support the America First agenda.
The first individual Trump announced was Whitney Hermandorfer, although he did not post that nomination to his social media.
She is set to fill a seat on the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati.
The next nominee, Joshua Divine, is set to serve as judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri.
Trump selected Zachary Bluestone to serve as judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
Maria Lanahan was nominated to serve as judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
The President nominate Cristian Stevens to serve on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
Edward Aloysius O’Connell was nominated to serve as associate judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
