Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) has been having trouble firing up enthusiasm on the stump, and this latest incident is a prime example.
DeSantis interrupted a rodeo in Oklahoma on Saturday to deliver a 2024 campaign speech, but the attendees did not appear impressed with his remarks.
“Hello Oklahoma! It’s great to be with ya!” DeSantis said from the stands as attendees flanking him appeared to look bored and unamused.

That same day, when Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) declared, “Oklahoma loves Ron DeSantis!” during reception for the Florida governor — the room was crickets.

It appears Oklahoma is still solid Trump country.
What’s more, a recent CBS poll found former President Trump’s primary poll numbers spiked to 61%, its highest level recorded, in the wake of the Justice Department’s unprecedented federal indictment against him last week.
DeSantis’ poll numbers remain stagnant at 23%.
