A New York Times op/ed says Joe Biden may “appeal to the world for help” in removing President Trump by calling for UN “international intervention” in the upcoming US presidential election.
Yes, really.
In a piece entitled “America May Need International Intervention,” writer Peter Beinart says the Biden campaign should approach the UN Human Rights Council for help in driving Trump from office during a contested election.
“For many Americans — raised to see the United States as the natural leader of the “free world” — it may be hard to imagine requesting foreign intervention against tyranny in our own land,” he wrote.
It’s worth pointing out, however, that the UN Human Rights Council includes China, which has a vested interest in ousting Trump.
China was controversially installed on the UN Human Rights Council’s Consultative Group earlier this year.
And keep in mind that the people who would advocate UN “international intervention” in the upcoming election are the very same people who accused President Trump of winning the 2016 election through “Russian intervention.”
The op/ed also advocates that the Biden campaign seek help from Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
“In addition to partnering with paragons of globalism – the United Nations, the European Union, the Council of Europe, and the World Bank – OSCE also has links to progressive megadonor George Soros,” reported The National Pulse. “Soros was a keynote speaker at the opening session of an OSCE special meeting in 2003 and individuals from his foundation, the Open Society Institute, have advised the body.”
