Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested Monday that former President Donald Trump won’t show up to his debate against Democrat nominee Kamala Harris tomorrow.
In a sit-down interview with the Texas Tribune, Pelosi raised the prospect that Trump is too scared to appear at the debate.
When asked by journalist Kara Swisher what advice she’d give to Trump ahead of the debate, Pelosi countered, “Do you think he’s going to show up?”
“I do,” Swisher replied. “Do you know something I don’t know?”

Pelosi flashed a grin and said, “I know cowardice when I see it.”
Pelosi’s dig at Trump is not based in reality.
Trump had proposed three debates against Kamala, but she only accepted the ABC News debate taking place on Sept. 10. in Philadelphia.
But Trump in July had suggested he may not agree to a debate since he wasn’t facing Biden — who was democratically chosen via the primary process as the Democrat party’s nominee — especially with an unfriendly network like ABC News.
“Now that Joe has, not surprisingly, has quit the race, I think the Debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on Fox News, rather than very biased ABC,” he said in July.
Since then, Trump has said he’d be happy to participate in multiple debates against Harris.
“I think if you’re in the Democratic nominee or Republican nominee, you really have an obligation to debate,” he said.
The Harris campaign meanwhile sought to change the rule on muted microphones, which was rejected.
Microphones will only be live for the candidate whose turn it is to speak.
Pelosi’s snide remark is just more unhinged Democrat fantasizing.
