The Pentagon recently added several Trump loyalists to its Defense Policy Board, including a China expert who will serve as the board’s chair, which indicates President Trump isn’t backing down.

This follows news that the Pentagon froze out pro-Biden officials last week.

“The intended appointments to the board, which advises Pentagon leaders on policy issues, come after last month’s sudden removal of nearly a dozen longstanding experts on the panel, including former Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger and Madeleine Albright and former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor,” reported The Hill.

Of course, neither Kissinger or Albright were pro-Trump “America First” acolytes.

In addition to the China expert, the appointments include Newt Gingrich, who called the election a “power grab,” and a former fighter pilot who publicly called election fraud a coup attempt.

“These incoming members bring extensive defense and national security affairs experience to this advisory committee from their time in Congress, the State Department, our armed forces and beyond,” acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller said in a statement. “I’m confident the Department of Defense will benefit greatly from their time and service to the board.”

On Dec. 10, the Pentagon made the unprecedented move to cut worldwide support for the CIA.

The move was made by Ezra Cohen-Watnick, the acting under secretary of defense for intelligence, who was appointed by Trump two days after the election.
