People were quick to respond to a pro-vaccine message with their own painful experiences endured after taking the Covid jab.
“Finally the asthma is paying off!” Tweeted Josh Widdicombe Saturday along with a picture of himself holding a vaccine record card stating the vaccine he received was from the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca.
Not long after Widdicombe’s tweet, his account was inundated with people describing adverse effects they experienced after receiving the Covid vaccine.
Had mine on wednesday felt fine thursday but then like i had been hit by a bus yesterday feeling a bit better today and its so worth a couple of days feeling like crap id rather be like this than have covid

You may get some side-effects, but they’ll ease off after a few days. I had a lot of pain at the injection site, and all my muscles ached for a few days. But it was manageable. Mild flu symptoms only.

Had mine yesterday morning. All ok until about 8.00pm never felt so ill. 2 paracetamol off to bed I went

A recurring sentiment was people treating their vaccine record like a badge of honor despite being hit with adverse effects.

I had My Astra Zeneca jag on Thursday (due to age not asthma though
) Apart from an achy arm and sleeping for 10hrs + (a lovely side affect I must say! I’m tempted to get a daily jag
) I’ve been fine and dandy. I hope you are too!

This asthmatic had her AZ jab too. Be prepared for a day or 2 of possibly feeling like you’ve been hit by a bus – the side effects of this one kicked my arse, and those of many I’ve spoken to. TOTALLY worth it though & definitely going for round 2 ASAP.
