Pop star Lizzo threatened to quit the music industry and live on a farm after suffering a social media melt down over comments she’s too fat.

In a multi-post screed on Twitter, Lizzo complained whenever she visits the site she’s hit with critical comments about her weight, despite the fact she’s just “trying to live and be healthy.”

“I JUST logged on and [sic] the app and this is the type of shit I see about me on a daily basis,” the rotund vocalist explained.

“It’s really starting to make me hate the world. Then someone in the comments said I eat ‘lots of fast food’… I LITERALLY STOPPED EATING FAST FOOD YEARS AGO…” she wrote.

The singer who’s been promoted as a “body positivity” role model despite being morbidly obese added: “I’m not trying to BE fat. I’m not trying to BE smaller. I’m literally just trying to live and be healthy.”

Lizzo continued saying the comments about her weight are making her want to leave society altogether, saying, “Y’all don’t know how close I be to giving up on everyone and quitting and enjoying my money and my man on a FUCKING FARM..”

“The Love definitely do not outweigh the Hate on social media… all because I’m fat???? This is CRAZY,” she wrote, adding, “I HATE IT HERE.”

One critical comment that triggered Lizzo came after footage of her tribute to Tina Turner went viral featuring her stripping off a piece of her dress.

Aside from the portly pop star’s unhealthy weight, there are also political reasons to criticize her as she campaigned for Joe Biden and Democrats in 2020, and recently brought a group of drag queens on stage at her all-ages concert to protest Tennessee’s law banning “adult cabaret entertainment” in public where children are present.
