Legendary broadcaster Lou Dobbs passed away Thursday at the age of 78.
“The Great Lou Dobbs has just passed away — A friend, and truly incredible Journalist, Reporter, and Talent,” former President Donald Trump wrote in remembrance on Truth Social Thursday.
“He understood the World, and what was ‘happening,’ better than others. Lou was unique in so many ways, and loved our Country. Our warmest condolences to his wonderful wife, Debi, and family. He will be greatly missed!”
Dobbs enjoyed a successful career in media broadcasting, starting at CNN back in 1980 and continuing there until 2009. He then joined Fox Business in 2011, before ultimately branching out to the alternative media sphere with his program, “The Great America Show.”
Dobbs joined “The Alex Jones Show” back on Feb. 16, 2024, discussing the importance of the American people mobilizing to help re-elect Donald Trump in November.
The reality is that right now, this is a country with so many problems, desperate problems in terms of how we’re going to live. And you mentioned your children and mine and grandchildren. In my case, you know, we have a great investment in their prospects in their future, and this nation’s, I think, “destiny” is the way I look at this country’s future.
It is a destiny, but only if we ourselves live up to the principles of our Founders and those philosophers and patriots who made it possible.
[Trump] has to get in. He is committed to that. I wish that more Americans were as committed as he to his leadership and to this great nation. The MAGA world, all of us “deplorables,” America first, we’re going to be there, but we’ve got to do even more than just vote for him.
We’ve got to be part of our community. We’ve got to be in those precincts and we’ve got to be watching and we’ve got to be doing, and we’ve got to be telling anybody who doesn’t want our eyes on them, ‘Go to hell. I’ll be right here watching over our democracy and you just step aside.’ That’s where we have to be.
Infowars sends our condolences to the Dobbs family and wishes him godspeed on his journey into the great beyond.
