Rep. Lauren Boebert Mocks David Hogg After He Calls Her a “Threat”: “Give your keyboard a rest, child”

Gun-toting freshman Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) clashed with former Parkland student David Hogg on Twitter after the anti-gun activist referred to her as a “threat.”

On Thursday, Hogg claimed Boebert and GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) were the “real threats” US Capitol security should be worried about.

“They can put up all the fencing around the capitol the real threats of @mtgreene and @laurenboebert will still be inside until @GOPLeader takes a stand,” the 20-year-old Hogg tweeted.

Boebert shot back, asserting Hogg should take a break from his part-time job as a keyboard warrior.

“David, please. We all saw how tough you were when questioned face to face. Give your keyboard a rest, child,” Boebert replied.

The congresswoman has been a target of the left after making it known she carries her concealed firearm onto Capitol grounds as a self defense measure.

Boebert’s daring to question the opinion of a school shooting survivor was met with criticism from liberals on social media, who claimed she was bullying him.

“He’s a child. Do you think this a good look?” commented Daily Beast editor Molly Jong-Fast. “He lived through a gun massacre at his high school and so you’re bullying him.”

“Is there a contest along the GOP freshmen to see which one of you can be the s***tiest human being?” another Twitter user stated.

Hogg later shifted his focus toward seeking the resignation of Rep. Greene, whom he disingenuously claimed threatened to kill him.

In reality, footage shows Rep. Greene merely confronted Hogg asking why he’s against the Second Amendment, as he smugly walked away pretending to ignore her. Meanwhile, Hogg claimed she “basically has threatened to kill and intimidated the survivors of Gun violence trying to trigger our PTSD.”

Rep. Greene responded with a “message to the mob,” describing how she won’t cave to the cancel culture.

“I take all of these slings and arrows gladly for you,” Rep. Greene wrote. “I take them for our America First movement so that we can save our country and stop socialism.”

Rep. Greene’s statement was also meant as a response to Congresswoman Cori Bush (D-Mo.), who on Friday claimed she was “berated” by Greene in the halls of Congress.

However, footage later released by Rep. Greene showed Bush was the instigator who began shouting at her from across the hallway, prompting Rep. Greene to respond.
