CNN host Brian Stelter’s days at the biased left-leaning network could be numbered.
According to unnamed sources, journalist Jon Nicosia on Thursday reported the “Reliable Sources” host’s time at the network could come to an end possibly within a few days.
“SOURCE: Stelter is ‘down to weeks if not days’ left at CNN,” Nicosia reported.
They continue: "Management is confident Stelter is the one sharing the internal pushback to fellow media reporters while simultaneously stirring discontent within the ranks"

“They go on ‘He is everything that reminds the new owners of the Zucker era they desperately want to get past,’” Nicosia added, referring to former disgraced boss Jeff Zucker who resigned earlier this year after workplace improprieties surfaced.
According to Nicosia’s source, Stelter was outed as an insider spilling details of the tumultuous inner-workings at the network to reporters.
“Management is confident Stelter is the one sharing the internal pushback to fellow media reporters while simultaneously stirring discontent within the ranks,” Nicosia reported.
In a memo to employees last month, new boss Chris Licht lamented that “too many people have lost trust in the news media,” and claimed he’d work on “regaining that trust” by educating “readers with straightforward facts and insightful commentary, while always being respectful of differing viewpoints.”
Licht unfortunately, in terms of bias, isn’t much better than Zucker, as Daily Wire notes he previously “served as executive producer for ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.’”
The news arrives just days after Stelter’s show delivered its lowest-rated episode last Sunday since September 2019, with only 580,000 viewers tuning in.

It also follows the cancellation of the CNN+ streaming platform, which was also home to Stelter’s daily version of “Reliable Sources.”
Lest Nicosia’s credibility be questioned, he pointed out in February he successfully reported on CNN’s ousting of Stelter’s girlfriend weeks before it actually came to fruition.

News of Stelter getting canned was celebrated on social media:
Ironically, Stelter and his network were called out on losing the public’s trust back in April, when a University of Chicago Institute of Politics student highlighted CNN’s numerous fake news fabrications.
“You’ve also spoken extensively about Fox News being a purveyor of disinformation, but CNN is right up there with them,” Phillips told Stelter, who was part of a panel discussing “Disinformation and the Erosion of Democracy.”
“They pushed the Russian collusion hoax, they pushed the Jussie Smollett hoax, they smeared Justice Kavanaugh as a rapist. They also smeared Nick Sandmann as a white supremacist,” Phillips stated, adding, “and, yes, they dismissed the Hunter Biden laptop affair as pure Russian disinformation.”
It remains to be seen what other remnants of the Zucker era will also be eradicated in the network’s quest for new, untainted blood.
New CNN President Chris Licht is evaluating the network’s hosts and anchors, and will get rid of any who can’t focus on CNN’s new mandate of straight newscasting with no particular political slant. He’s particularly looking at Jim Acosta and Brian Stelter. pic.twitter.com/kFqfWYl2Kr
