According to Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL), while Americans are facing a worsening baby formula shortage, the Biden administration is sending pallets of baby formula to the border for the children of incoming illegal immigrants.
In a video Cammack posted to social media, the GOP representative explained that stores in America are capping the amount of baby formula they will sell mothers.
Meanwhile, according to photographs provided by a Border Patrol agent, pallets and pallets of baby formula are being sent to the illegal immigrants flooding through the nation’s southern border.
“This is what America last looks like. This is 100 percent what it looks like,” she said.
According to Cammack, the Border Patrol agent told her, “‘Kat, you would not believe the shipment I just brought in.’”
She continued, explaining, “He has been a border patrol agent for 30 years and he has never seen anything quite like this. He is a grandfather and he is saying that his own children can’t get baby formula.”
Cammack noted she’s not upset with the illegal parents or babies receiving the formula, saying, “it is not the childrens’ fault at all. But what is infuriating to me is that this is another example of the America last agenda that the Biden administration continues to perpetuate.”
“The first photo is from this morning at the Ursula Processing Center at the U.S. border,” Cammack wrote on Twitter. “Shelves and pallets packed with baby formula. The second is from a shelf right here at home. Formula is scarce. This is what America last looks like.”
Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene spoke at the U.S. Capitol on Thursday, telling Americans the Biden administration’s Covid lockdowns destroyed the supply chain and contributed to the baby formula shortage.
Greene said, “The Biden administration has been sending pallets of baby formula for illegal mothers and their babies while American mothers and their babies cannot find formula. This is completely unacceptable, and this needs to end now.”
Savanah Hernandez investigated the baby formula shortage in Texas and found an alarming amount of bare shelf space where the products should be.
During a Wednesday press gaggle, new White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre laughed after a reporter asked who is in charge of helping with the baby formula shortage, and said she didn’t know if someone was “running point” on the issue.
Fox News reporter John Roberts confirmed on Thursday that Joe Biden will be holding a White House event discussing the baby formula shortage that is closed to the press.
“Press corps will get a read out in a press call after the event,” he wrote.
When American mothers are struggling to feed their infants, it may be a sign the nation needs new leadership.
