Reporting from the American side of the U.S.-Mexico border wall near Yuma, Arizona at 2 am, Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. described the scene as a “dystopian nightmare.”
“We’ve watched about 150 people come across in the last hour,” he said. “The first group were about 50 or 60 people from West Africa. This group that is filing behind me right now, we’ve interviewed many of them. They’re from Peru, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, India, China, Tibet, Nepal and all together people have come across right here from 117 nations in the last couple of years.”
Kennedy continued, “In three years, in total 7 million people have come across the border illegally into our country and from here they’re put on these buses and they’re brought to a border patrol station where they’re processed. After four or five days, they’re released on their own reconnaissance into our country and most of them are never seen or heard from again.”
He also said some of the personal stories the foreigners told him were “heartbreaking” and that Biden’s open border policies have created a humanitarian crisis where people are being horrifically abused.
“This is not a good thing for our country, it’s not a good thing for these people and it’s unsustainable,” RFK Jr. concluded his message.
Speaking with News Nation during his visit to the border, the Democrat presidential candidate said, “It was like a dystopian nightmare with all these desperate people flooding across the wall in a situation that clearly could have been prevented.”
Kennedy also noted the border crisis has been created by the federal government while local communities are forced to deal with most of the issues that come along with the open border.
It’s refreshing to hear a Democrat candidate actually address the ridiculous open-border policies promoted by the modern left-wing establishment instead of bowing down to the “liberal” cult.
