Hollywood actress and #MeToo proponent Rose McGowan blasted former Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, claiming she surrounds herself with monsters, rapists and pedophiles.
McGowan made the remarks directly to Clinton via Twitter on the former Secretary of State’s birthday Monday, while Clinton used her birthday wish to encourage people to vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
“We have more power than YOU @HillaryClinton,” McGowan wrote. “We will not be silenced by you and your monsters. You campaign for rapists & line your pockets with pedophiles. Oh, and happy birthday. Can you feel it? It’s us blowing out YOUR candle. Make a wish, I know I have.”
Over the past few months, McGowan appears to have aligned politically with the Republican party, calling Democrats a “cult” after they rallied around Joe Biden, despite credible allegations of rape by former staffer Tara Reade.
McGowan went after her former Charmed co-star Alyssa Milano back in April after Milano still pledged to support Biden even after the Reade allegations surfaced.
As Dems were rallying around Biden back in April, McGowan wrote, “I would have died for this damned country & its ideals. I was raised to be a proud Democrat. When my youngest brother graduated as a fighter pilot at the Air Force academy, I wore a Vote John Kerry pin (lol,) got into verbal altercations with big men who were mad I was a Democrat.”
“I thought democracy meant I had a right to choose those who lined up with my value system. But what if there’s no one? Now I know too much. And I feel really quite a sense of loss tonight.
“I am not a cynical person, but America goddamn. Republicans have always been painted as the bad guys, and I’ve always seen them more as a cult, but now I realize so are the democrats and the media. Macro and Micro.
“This is deeper than a cover-up. And I’m sad because there’s death around all corners & shadows in the daytime. It hurts.
“Now I know too much and I feel really quite a sense of loss.”
Posts from McGowan in August calling out Democrats confirmed the actress had indeed switched parties.
McGowan also appears to be keeping up with the leaks from Hunter Biden’s laptop, as evidenced in a recent tweet.
