Russia released a compelling ad appealing to Ukrainian soldiers in its counteroffensive on the eastern front, telling them, “this is your last chance” to surrender or face annihilation.
The ad shows a frightened Ukrainian soldier attempt to make a stand on the battlefield before getting unceremoniously shot in the head.
The ad goes on to explain how this could have been avoided.

“Here it is, your counteroffensive.”
“You have thought that you have good chance to stay alive.”
“But you did not want to escape country dressed as a woman.”
“Your mother did not had enough money for a bribe.”
“Old friends did not help your father.”
“You tried to hide, but they need ‘meat’.”
“Because they preserve Leopards. They preserve their own children too.”
“But you? Nope.”
“Now you have the last chance to stay alive.”
At that point, time reverses for the Ukrainian soldier back to his fateful moment, but instead of charging ahead and dying, he surrenders.
It appears Russia wants this war to be over and doesn’t want to kill any more Ukrainian soldiers than necessary to secure its objective.
