The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is telling parents to consult pediatricians about the Covid jab for children, despite little to no evidence of its effectiveness.

In an ad published on social media Tuesday, an AAP physician urged parents to “talk with your child’s doctor about the Covid vaccine.”

The shameless plug for the experimental mRNA jab comes just days after the CDC on Friday issued its recommendation “that all children 6 months through 5 years of age should receive a Covid-19 vaccine.”

The AAP’s ad was widely panned on social media for promoting the shot, of which there is scant data showing it prevents Covid deaths in children.

The jab’s essential ineffectiveness in children was highlighted by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) during a Senate Health Committee hearing last week, where he took NIAID Director Anthony Fauci to task over the CDC approving the jab despite a lack of data.

“Dr. Fauci, the government recommends everybody take a booster over age five,” Sen. Paul told Fauci, adding, “Are you aware of any studies that show reduction in hospitalization, or death for children who take a booster?”

“Right now, there’s not enough data that has been accumulated, Senator Paul, to indicate that that’s the case,” Fauci responded.

“So there are no studies – and Americans should all know this – there are no studies on children showing a reduction in hospitalization or death with taking a booster,” Sen. Paul summarized.
