VP Kamala Harris keeps a list of reporters and political players she thinks are hostile to her or are racist, according to a piece by The Atlantic.
In an apparent effort to boost her terrible approval numbers, The Atlantic ginned up a profile about Harris and her decision-making as vice president, noting that she keeps tabs on reporters she deems hostile to her.
“The vice president and her team tend to dismiss reporters. Trying to get her to take a few questions after events is treated as an act of impish aggression,” writes Edward-Isaac Dovere.
“And Harris herself tracks political players and reporters whom she thinks don’t fully understand her or appreciate her life experience.”
Harris also tracks terms journalists use that offend her, such as “cautious” and its synonyms.
“She particularly doesn’t like the word cautious, and aides look out for synonyms too,” he writes. “Careful, guarded, and hesitant don’t go over well.”
The Atlantic went on to admit that Harris has so little charisma and generates so little interest that the media second guesses covering her.
“At times, she comes off as so uninteresting that television producers have started to wonder whether spending thousands of dollars to send people on trips with her is worthwhile, given how little usable material they get out of it,” Dovere writes.
According to a recent YouGov poll, Harris’ approval rating sits at 41% percent, with 57% of independents viewing her unfavorably.
Perhaps those awful numbers are due to Harris’ refusal to visit the besieged southern border despite being tasked by Joe Biden to handle the border crisis.
Or maybe it’s due to Harris’ awkward tendency to cackle at the most inappropriate times, such as when she joked about killing President Trump or dismissing questions about the Democrats’ socialist agenda.
