A man was shot and killed as his child stood just feet away inside a bodega in New York City this week, according to reports.
The horrifying incident unfolded at around 4 p.m. on Thursday in Manhattan.
Tykeem Berry, 30, was at 144 Deli & Grocery in the Inwood neighborhood with his 9-year-old daughter when he became embroiled in a dispute with another man, the New York Post reports.
Surveillance footage shared on social media shows the men bickering near the register.

The other man can be seen standing with one hand inside of his jacket before he steps outside.
Berry appears to continue yelling at the suspect through the glass door.
Suddenly, the suspect runs back inside, draws a firearm, and apparently shoots Berry in the chest.
Berry lunges at the assailant and they both crash through the door onto the sidewalk.
The suspect flees the scene as Berry lays wounded on the ground.
Berry was taken to Harlem Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect is still on the loose and has not been identified, according to the latest available updates at the time of this writing.
“The 30-year-old was previously the victim of gun violence twice in March 2012 and January 2013, police sources said. The details of the prior shootings were unknown,” the Post reports.
