A male suspect was arrested after he jumped off an overpass during a violent crime spree in New York City this week, according to reports.
The shocking string of events unfolded just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon in Manhattan.
A Lyft driver was stabbed while transporting the suspect, who reportedly tried to steal the Tesla in which he was riding.
The suspect then exited the vehicle on busy FDR Drive and attempted to carjack multiple motorists, diving head-first through the open windows of at least two passing vehicles.
After being thwarted, the suspect climbed a guardrail, tossed a bag to the ground three stories below, and proceeded to jump off.
Footage of the chaos captured by multiple cameras in the sky has been circulating on social media.

The suspect, who was identified as 20-year-old Ismael English, survived the fall and was arrested at the scene.
English faces a slew of charges, including attempted murder for the stabbing of Lyft driver Yadav Kumar Dhungel, 36, who was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with serious injuries.
Dhungel reportedly underwent emergency surgery and was listed in stable condition.
An investigation is ongoing.
