The Six Flags chain of amusement parks has sparked outrage by hosting Pride Events featuring drag shows which allow children of all ages to attend.
Fox News reports Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington held a drag show this past Friday and will continue to host shows throughout the month, with promotions for the event advertising performers “Arya Jealous,” and “Citronella.”
The shows were initially advertised as “all-ages” events claiming, “All content is rated PG and is considered to be family-friendly and inclusive for all ages,” adding that “Anyone under 17 should consult with a parent or guardian if there is concern.”
However, social media posts on Instagram and Twitter advertising the event appear to have been scrubbed, and a webpage dedicated to the event now specifically states: “Must be 18 or older to attend.”
Six Flags is flying Pride Flags and exposing children to Drag Shows while park-goers are immersed in Rainbow Decor, etc…throughout the month of June

Similar gay pride events are happening at other Six Flags locations across the country, with Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio hosting a Pride After-Hours Celebration later this month.
Other Six Flags theme parks across the nation, including Six Flags New England, Six Flags Over Georgia and Six Flags St. Louis, are also holding pride events.
With boycotts against brands and companies targeting children reaching fever pitch, it will be interesting to see if Six Flags parks face similar backlash.
