The Swedish Health Agency announced on Thursday that it will not be recommending children ages 5-11 get a Covid-19 vaccination as “the benefits do not outweigh the risks.”
A Health Agency spokesperson said, “With the knowledge we have today, with a low risk for serious disease for kids, we don’t see any clear benefit with vaccinating them.”
The nation has been widely discussed during the Covid pandemic as it experienced low death and hospitalization numbers despite pursuing an alternative response to the virus.
As Business Insider reported, “Sweden broke with most of the rest of the world and never mandated that people wear masks during the coronavirus pandemic.”
While the European nation refuses to push the experimental mRNA shots on its youth, America recently announced over 8 million kids aged 5-11 have been vaccinated against Covid.
Don’t expect the U.S. to stop at five-year-olds, however, as Dr. Anthony Fauci revealed Wednesday a plan to inject Americans four and under with a “three-dose regimen” of Covid shots.
Infowars‘ Steve Watson notes, “CDC Data has shown that children make up less than 0.1 percent of Covid deaths since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020. To date, 259 of around 860,000 recorded U.S. Covid deaths have been among children under the age of five.”
A keen Twitter user pointed out that Sweden’s Covid death rate is much lower than that of the U.S., and asked which country is truly following the science.
Billionaire Tesla CEO Elon Musk sent a message on Twitter Thursday, saying, “I am in awe of Sweden,” in response to the announcement that the country won’t be vaccinating some of its youngest citizens.
