A sophisticated cross-border tunnel discovered by U.S. authorities last week may have been used move tens of thousands of illegal aliens, sex-trafficked women, weapons, drugs, and other contraband between El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, according to reports.
On Jan. 10, U.S. Border Patrol agents located an underground passage running from Juarez to a storm drain in the West Texas city, as InfoWars previously reported.
The wood-framed corridor was roughly 6 feet tall and 4 feet wide and was equipped with electricity and ventilation.
No humans were encountered during the discovery and it was originally unclear exactly how the tunnel was used.
Following a week of investigation, authorities now believe more than 800 illegal aliens were being smuggled through the tunnel every week and that most of them slipped into the U.S. as ‘gotaways.’
“The tunnel has reportedly been in use for more than a year. Several Mexican media outlets have reported that migrants have posted the tunnel on social media platforms like TikTok ‘as a safe and quick pathway’ to get into the United States,” NewsNation reports.

Victor Avila, former special agent with Homeland Security Investigations, told Bradley that illegals likely paid higher fees to be smuggled through the tunnel in order to cross the border undetected – an approach preferred by aliens who come from ‘special interest’ countries or have criminal records or deportation histories.
Authorities on both side of the border are now working to fill and seal the tunnel so it cannot be used again.
