The View co-host Sunny Hostin claimed suburban white women voting Republican are voting against their own interests — and went on to liken them to pests voting for pesticide.
In a Thursday segment revealing what she really thinks about Republican white women, Hostin opined, “I read a poll just yesterday that white, Republican, suburban women are now going to vote Republican. It’s almost like roaches voting for Raid, right?”
The derisive, tone-deaf comparison illustrates exactly why white female suburbanites are repelled by the Democrat party, and is yet another reason why there will likely be a red wave next Tuesday.
“If a host said this about anyone other than white people they’d be immediately fired,” remarked political commentator Clay Travis.
Various Twitter users agreed, with some calling for Hostin to be canned.

And Sonny HOSTIN should be fired.
If a white talk show host called black women “roaches”, she would not only be fired, she’d be canceled.
***No woman should be compared to “roaches” for the way they vote.***— Snow65snow (@Snow65Snow) November 3, 2022
White woman & mom here
and I certainly don’t need Sunny Hostin telling me what’s in my best interest!
Always & forever doing my part to keep Texas red!

The OP of the clip, US House candidate Wesley Hunt (R-Texas) commented Hostin’s take is representative of Democrats’ wider animosity toward people they can’t control.
“Typical leftist playbook: attack those that you can’t control. Trust me, as a black Republican, I know a thing or two about this. VOTE ACCORDINGLY,” Hunt declared.
