Appearing on Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Company” Thursday, President Trump lambasted social media sites Twitter and Facebook for censoring bombshell articles exposing the corruption of Hunter and Joe Biden.
Stuart Varney asked POTUS if he’d pressure Congress to make social media websites liable for what they publish when tech heads appear on Capitol Hill on October 28.
“If you get rid of Section 230, that’s the end of them,” Trump said, Varney then asking, “Is that what you want?”
President Trump responded, “We are looking at a lot of things.”
After Varney notified him live on-air that the Trump Campaign official Twitter account was suspended, POTUS said, “It’s going to end up in a very big lawsuit and there are things that can happen that are very severe.”
Continuing, the president declared, “It’s out of control! And, it’s like a third arm, maybe a first arm, of the DNC. Twitter and Facebook … really, it’s a massive campaign contribution. This is a third arm of the DNC, the radical left movement. And that’s the biggest problem our country has. It’s not with the right — it’s with the left. The radical left is the biggest — Antifa and that scum is the thing that’s hurting our country.”
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke with reporters on Thursday to inform the American people that the Senate Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to appear before the Senate next Friday.
Big tech has pushed the censorship envelope further than ever as Twitter censors the New York Post for exposing the corruption of Joe and Hunter Biden.
