Former President Trump blasted Joe Biden’s bungled handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal, particularly his move to evacuate more Afghan civilians than stranded Americans and import them into the U.S.
“Biden surrendered Afghanistan to terrorists and left thousands of Americans for dead by pulling out the Military before our citizens,” Trump said in a Tuesday statement.
“Now we are learning that out of the 26,000 people who have been evacuated, only 4,000 are Americans. You can be sure the Taliban, who are now in complete control, didn’t allow the best and brightest to board these evacuation flights.”
“Instead, we can only imagine how many thousands of terrorists have been airlifted out of Afghanistan and into neighborhoods around the world,” he continued.
“What a terrible failure. NO VETTING. How many terrorists will Joe Biden bring to America? We don’t know!” he concluded.
This comes amid reports that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and State Department are admitting unvetted Afghan refugees into the U.S.
That’s likely why Biden specifically addressed the issue in a tweet and in later remarks, insisting that the Afghan refugees are vetted — in other countries — before coming to America.
Once screened and cleared, we will welcome Afghans who helped us in the war effort to their new home in the United States of America.
Because that’s who we are. That’s what America is.

American citizens are trapped behind enemy lines. They can’t reach the airport in Kabul that is surrounded by thousands of refugees and Taliban because they are being hunted.
