Video captured in Lynn, Massachusetts earlier this month shows a truck slamming into the back of a boat after nearly striking two men.
After the speeding pickup truck hit a car in the road, a local store owner heard a loud crash and was able to jump out of the way.
“When I heard the explosion from behind me I turned around,” he told NBC 10 Boston. “That’s when he was just clearing the white car, and I jumped out of the way as quickly as I could and the customer was running as fast as he could.”
Surveillance video shows the store owner and a customer both evading the truck at the last second.
To prevent the driver from leaving the scene, bystanders busted out the truck’s windows and removed the keys from the ignition.
At this point, the driver woke up and exited the vehicle.
According to the man behind the wheel of the truck, the COVID-19 vaccine is to blame for the wreck.
“The last thing he remembered was he felt like he was going to pass out and so he tried to pull over and the next thing he knew we were smashing his windows,” one of the guys on the scene explained.
As more people get the experimental jabs, will wrecks like this become more common?
