As self described ‘eco-anarchists’ continue to block motorways in the UK, video emerged of one driver giving the protesters a piece of his mind and noting that their actions are causing people to hate them AND their cause.
The protesters, calling themselves ‘Insulate Britain’, again sat in the road at a junction near London this morning, blocking traffic with police nowhere to be seen.
The irate motorist approached the protesters and told them he understood why environmental issues are important, but asked them “Why the hell do you think this is the right thing to do?”
He continued, “You’re causing more pollution with all these cars sitting here just doing f*** all,” adding “This is not the way to do it. You’re wrecking lives and making people hate you.”
The man advised the protesters to “leave and go protest in London.”
Another motorist trapped on the road was less accommodating, yelling “You lot are a bunch of f***ing pricks!”

The group released a statement claiming that “Actions will continue until the Government makes a meaningful commitment to insulate all of Britain’s 29 million leaky homes by 2030, and all social housing by 2025.”
Yet, as The Daily Mail reports today, a leader of the group hasn’t even bothered to have his own house insulated.
As we previously reported, along with everyone else, the protesters are preventing actual insulation engineers from getting to work.
The protesters also directly caused a dangerous pile-up last week, prompting one woman to be airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Insulate Britain is an offshoot of Extinction Rebellion, a group that should be called Extinction Establishment since all its demented climate change demands are being met by the government anyway.
