Former congressman Jim Bridenstine (R-Okla.) turned heads over the weekend when he awkwardly recounted being so close with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis they used to shower together.
Bridenstine was stumping for Ron in Tulsa, Oklahoma, when he dropped the soap, err, the scoop, on the duo’s totally-not-gay escapades.
“He lived in his office like I lived in my office,” a sweaty Bridenstine told rally attendees.
“And together we would take a shower in the basement,” he continued, adding, “and we had a daily meeting when we took showers in the basement.”
“Am I allowed to say that?” Bridenstine asked after letting the cat out of the bag.
The alarming bro-mantic statement puzzled many on social media, who naturally asked why the Republican presidential contender was showering with men.
