WATCH: Biden Administration to Launch “Door-to-Door Vaccine Outreach”

The Biden administration is launching a door-to-door vaccine outreach scheme, White House Press Sec. Jen Psaki announced Tuesday.

The plan is part of a five-step program by the Biden administration to distribute vaccines more widely to the remaining holdouts, Psaki announced.

“The president will outline five areas his team is focused on to get more Americans vaccinated,” Psaki stated.

“One, targeted by community, door-to-door outreach to get remaining Americans vaccinated to ensure they have the information they need on how both safe and accessible the vaccine is.”

Biden later elaborated on the program in a statement, where he reiterated a plan to send vaccine squads “literally knocking on doors.”

“A special focus on five ways to make gains in getting those of you who aren’t vaccinated vaccinated,” Biden stated Tuesday. “Because here’s the deal we are continuing to wind down the mass vaccination sites that did so much in the spring to rapidly vaccinate those eager to get their first shot and their second shot for that matter.”

“Now we need to go community-by-community, neighborhood-by-neighborhood, and oft times door-to-door, literally knocking on doors to get help to the remaining people protected from the virus.”

The idea was immediately blasted on social media, with many pointing out the irony that the people who called Trump supporters “Nazis” were now calling for Nazi-like tactics against unvaccinated people.

According to Google world data, about 47.9% of Americans, or roughly 157 million people, have been fully vaccinated.
