Watch: Biden White House Pleads Ignorance on Trump Arrest, Refuses To Comment

Biden regime completely silent about arrest of Joe Biden's main political 2024 opponent and shuts down any questions about it.

Peter Doocy asks if Joe Biden worried new precedent set by anti-Trump Democrats could result in his own indictment someday.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insisted Tuesday that the Biden administration learned about the arrest of former President Donald Trump “just like everybody else” and repeatedly refused to comment on the historic political development.

Jean-Pierre claimed Biden “was not given a heads-up” on Trump’s indictment and found out about it “just like all of you.”

Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked whether Joe Biden had concerns that Trump’s arrest would open up a negative legal precedent that could be used against him someday.

“President Biden is a lawyer — as a lawyer, is he concerned at all that a local DA indicting a former president could down the line open up the possibility, set the precedent that local DAs that don’t like former President Biden could indict him?” Doocy asked.

“I’m not going to comment,” Jean-Pierre replied.

Doocy pointed out the historic importance of Trump’s arrest and noted the American people expect some kind of response as a demonstration of leadership from the Biden administration.

“All that anybody…is talking about this exact moment…is Trump and they look here to find out what the WH thinks about it and–” Doocy said.

“We’re just not going to comment,” Jean-Pierre interrupted.

Doocy then asked if the White House refusing to comment on the single most important news item of the week means they don’t think it’s worth noting.

“Does the lack of comment mean that you do not think anything happening in New York today is one of the top issues facing the country at the moment?” he asked.

Jean-Pierre replied: “That’s not my assessment. That’s your assessment. I’m just laying out the facts that we are…not going to comment.”

Another reporter asked, “Does the White House believe that a former president could or should be indicted?”

Jean-Pierre replied, “I’m just not gonna comment.”

Jean-Pierre’s stonewalling even triggered The New York Times reporter Michael Shear, who noted that Biden had repeatedly commented on numerous January 6 cases.

“That was different,” Jean-Pierre claimed.

And there you have it. The White House press secretary has absolutely nothing to say or impart to the American people whatsoever about the fact Biden’s main political rival heading into 2024 is getting arrested by a Democrat district attorney in Manhattan.

The irony is that Jean-Pierre’s effort to stay silent about Trump’s indictment to portray an appearance of neutrality is actually having the opposite effect and makes the Biden White House appear even more political.
