A new CNN report exposes Democrat nominee Kamala Harris’ previous opposition to former President Donald Trump’s border security efforts, as she adopts his policies amid attempts to look tough on the border.
A “KFile Investigations” segment presented by CNN host Erin Burnett on Wednesday took the Biden “border czar” to the woodshed after a campaign ad featured Trump’s wall, despite Harris previously denigrating the former president’s border security feature on numerous occasions.

Burnett says her team found over 50 instances in which Harris slammed Trump’s wall, including criticisms of the security structure as a “medieval vanity project,” as well as calling it “stupid.”
Here are just a few instances:
Burnett also highlighted a passage from Harris’ 2019 book, The Truths We Hold, where she bashed the wall, stating,
“There was a bigger reason to oppose the border wall. A useless wall in the southern border would be nothing more than a symbol, a monument standing in opposition to not just everything I value, but to the fundamental values upon which this country was built. How could I vote to build what would be little more than a monument designed to send the cold, hard message keep out?”
CNN contributor Andrew Kaczynski added he was able to pinpoint the wall featured in Kamala’s campaign ad as a segment built during the Trump administration in Sasabe, Ariz.
“And that is a portion of wall that was actually built by Donald Trump,” Kaczynski said. “It was built in an area where there was not previous wall. It was actually pretty controversial when they were building it at the time.”
CNN’s live segment was accompanied by a written article on the subject titled, “Harris move to the center on border wall, asylum contradicts her years of progressive immigration positions,” pointing out the various shifts to the right Kamala’s made since assuming the presidential nomination, despite last week insisting to CNN’s Dana Bash “my values have not changed.”
ABC News last month also mocked the Harris campaign ad for showing Trump wall photos.
Harris unveiled her renewed commitment to securing the border during her speech at the Democratic National Convention last month, stating she’d support a bipartisan border security bill, which incidentally includes $650 million in funding for building Trump’s wall.
Evidently, CNN is attempting to salvage its “fake news” reputation by exposing Harris’ flip-flops weeks after they were discovered.
The question is: Why is CNN turning on the Democrat candidate?
