The latest proof of Joe Biden’s rapidly declining mental capabilities came on Thursday after a reporter asked the president if his administration is considering delaying a lift of the Title 42 border policy.
During the Covid pandemic, Title 42 was used to turn away illegal immigrants at the border since the federal government refuses to obey the US Constitution.
Asked if his administration will delay the lifting of the policy, Biden answered, “What I’m considering is continuing to hear from my… first of all there’s gonna be an appeal by the Justice Department because as a matter of principle we want to be in a position where if in fact it is strongly concluded by the scientists that we need Title 42 that we be able to do that. But, there has been no decision on extending Title 42.”
Biden conflated the DOJ’s attempt to restore a public transit mask mandate with the Covid border policy.
Ultimately, the administration is allowing the CDC to dictate their decision on both matters.
Following the gaffe, Biden was forced to release a statement on his confusing remark, telling the American people, “I want to clarify that, in comments at the conclusion of my remarks this morning, I was referring to the CDC’s mask mandate and there is no Department of Justice action on Title 42.”
