Social media pranksters “raided” government office buildings in San Francisco posing as agents of the Department of Government Efficiency and demanding to know what city workers were doing.

YouTuber Danny Mullen and his fake DOGE crew entered San Francisco city offices earlier this month pretending to carry out President Donald Trump’s orders to make the government more efficient – much to the dismay of city employees.

In one clip, Mullen enters an office and announces himself as “Brad ‘Face-F*cker’ Davis,” before a worker tells him she doesn’t feel comfortable with him there.’,” before a worker tells him she doesn’t feel comfortable with him there.

“I’m not comfortable with you wasting tremendous amounts of taxpayer resources, miss,” Mullen tells her.

When Mullen tells the worker he needs to put a thumb drive in her computer to monitor her activity, the worker quickly grabs her laptop and begins to leave the office.

“Oh, I don’t need consent to put a thumb in,” Mullen says as the worker scrambles to leave, adding, “Not in Trump’s America.”

The stunt sparked headlines earlier this month after the Desert Sun reported that an investigation was underway to identify the pranksters, following a statement from the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office.

“Three men dressed in DOGE shirts and MAGA hats entered various offices at San Francisco City Hall, demanding that employees turn over digital information related to alleged wasteful government spending and fraud,” read the sheriff’s statement. “The employees refused their requests, and called San Francisco sheriff’s deputies.”

Responding to developments that the fake DOGE employees had been identified, the Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday said they would continue investigating the incident for possible criminal violations.

Here’s the Sheriff’s statement, via KRON4:

The San Francisco Sheriff’s Office expects to complete its investigation soon into the 2/14/25 incident at City Hall after video surfaced last night showing that the individuals impersonating DOGE were engaged in a “prank” for the benefit of YouTube notoriety. While some City employees may have been concerned by the disruption to their work, it’s important to remember that San Francisco prides itself on its dedication to freedom of speech and expression.

The behaviors of the individuals under investigation went beyond courteous interactions with City workers and legislative staff, and were carried out in areas where City employees have an expectation of personal workspace safety.

As revealed in the footage, our City staff remains committed to being friendly, approachable, and hard-working, and we do not appreciate those who engage in harassing behavior to serve their own political agendas. It is a crime to interfere with public business, under Penal Code 602.1b; those who intentionally obstruct our employees’ efforts to serve our residents and visitors may be subject to arrest.”

Mullen and his troupe last year traveled to an illegal invasion hotspot near Jacumba Hot Springs, California, where they found hundreds of illegals, many of Chinese origin, who were eager to receive cans of Modelo Especial.
