Joe Biden referred to Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) as “president-elect” in remarks Tuesday.
In what has become a commonplace occurrence, Biden again let it slip that his running mate could be the real person calling the shots in a potential Biden administration.
Biden made the flub while discussing the vaccine rollout and his photo op receiving the shot.
“I hope the president will clearly and unambiguously urge all Americans to take the vaccine once it’s available. I took it to instill public confidence in the vaccine,” Biden said, before adding, “President-elect Harris took hers today for the same reason.”
While some took the gaffe as a simple blunder from an alzheimer’s-stricken septuagenarian, others saw the awkward remark as yet another freudian slip exposing who’s really running the show.
Ahead of the election, Biden was already referring to his potential administration as the “Harris/Biden administration.”
Harris later repeated the “Harris administration” line.
