Senate Democrats railed against President Donald Trump’s nominee to head the FBI, Kash Patel, Thursday ahead of his confirmation vote.

Ahead of the hearing, about five Democrats – including Sens. Adam Schiff (Calif.), Sheldon Whitehouse (R.I.), and Dick Durbin (Ill.) – held a tiny press conference in DC criticizing Patel, saying he will politicize and weaponize the agency against Trump’s political enemies – much like Biden weaponized the Justice Dept. against Trump.
