Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly threw her support behind former President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign Monday, in a surprising twist of fate nine years in the making.
Attending one of Trump’s final MAGA rallies of the 2024 campaign, the host of “The Megyn Kelly Show” joined Trump on stage in Pittsburgh, Pa., to explain to voters she’s voting for Trump because he’s going to close the border and protect women.
"Ladies out there who want a bit of girl power in this election, let me tell you something. How can you win when the sons and the husbands and the brothers and the dads you love are losing?"

Kelly remarked she’s voting Trump due to young female Americans killed by illegal aliens, including Georgia college student Laken Riley, 22, and 12-year-old Texan Jocelyn Nungaray.
“He got mocked by the left for saying he will be a protector of women. He will be a protector of women and it’s why I’m voting for him,” Kelly said, adding, “He will close the border, he will keep the boys out of girls’ sports and where they don’t belong and you know what else, one more thing, he will look out for our boys, too. Our forgotten boys and our forgotten men.”
Kelly also questioned why the media didn’t investigate allegations against Kamala Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff that he physically abused an ex-girlfriend.
Kelly’s stunning reversal comes after she and the 45th president sparred nine years ago in 2015 during a Republican presidential debate hosted by Fox News, where Kelly attempted to corner Trump with a gotcha question asking about his mean comments toward women.

Trump later told CNN’s Don Lemon he thought Kelly came out too hard against him, saying, “She gets out and she starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions… You know, you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever. In my opinion, she was off base.”
Following news Kelly would endorse Trump, CNN’s Dana Bash did not appear to take it well.

Trump is going on a hero’s journey where he has befriended all his former enemies – in reverse order. Megyn was the last one.

And she was also his very first target, during the August 2015 primary debate in Detroit.
