Morning Joe host Mika Brzezinski wants President Donald Trump, who has for months been demonized by the MSM as the Jan. 6 insurrection coup leader, to ramp up vaccination rates by telling his followers to go out and get vaccinated.
Discussing waning US Covid vaccine rates on Friday, Brzezinski suggested Trump alone, who she brands a “cult leader,” could convince hesitant Americans to roll up their sleeves.
“Is it too late, or if Donald Trump held a press conference, a big event, ‘It’ll be huge!’ and urged the American people to get the vaccine, implored them passionately, showed a picture of himself getting it, and supported vaccination across the country, could he alone fix this?” Brzezinski asked co-host Donnie Deutsch.

Brzezinski’s sudden approval of Trump’s influence over his base exemplifies how the left is willing to sideline their feigned apprehension so long as it might give them leverage, or a political advantage.
Elsewhere in the interview, Brzezinski likened Trump to a leader of a cult who could “inspire” his followers to get the vaccine.
“It’s like so many people who were there and so many people across America, Trump is the only person who could inspire them to get the vaccine, and yet he doesn’t,” Brzezinski said, adding, “and therein lies the cult-likeness of the Trump following that is such a danger to our democracy. It’s not an exaggeration — this is how cult leaders act.”
