An extremely diverse group of parents in Montgomery County, Maryland gathered outside a county school board building on Tuesday to oppose the left’s LGBT push on America’s children.
The crowd was present to oppose the school board’s “no opt-out” policy for certain LGBTQ+ books it previously approved for students from pre-kindergarten through high school.
The current policy is that students and families cannot opt out of being indoctrinated with the gay books.
A group of local Muslim and Christian parents filed a federal lawsuit against the school board two weeks ago, arguing the forced pro-LGBT curriculum violates their religious rights.
A local woman filmed the protest as she declared, “The woke army is dead,” because they came after the kids, and pointed out the large group of angry parents came from all walks of life.
The woman filmed as white, Hispanic and black Americans of all religious backgrounds shouted slogans like, “Protect our children,” and “They’re not your children.”
Many women on the anti-LGBT curriculum side were wearing full Islamic outfits while the small group of pro-LGBT demonstrators were almost all older white people wearing rainbow gear.
Signs held by the majority group read, “Respect and Protect Religious Freedoms,” and “Family Rights.”
The opposing group held signs such as, “I [heart] LGBTQ+ kids,” (not creepy at all) and “Won’t be erased,” with one woman wearing a shirt stating, “I [heart] nice Jewish queers.”
Near the end of the woman’s video, she captured a scene that ought to terrify Democrats as a man fired up the huge crowd of pissed-off parents, asking, “Are you going to vote next year?” to loud replies of, “Yes!”
In a shocking moment, Montgomery County Council Member Kristin Mink claimed the Muslim parents opposing the school board indoctrinating their kids with LGBT propaganda are on “the same side” as “white supremacists.”
The Director of the Islam and Religious Freedom Action Team for the Religious Freedom Institute commented on Mink’s remark in a statement to Fox News Digital, saying he was “shocked” she compared Muslims to white supremacists.
“I was shocked. I was absolutely stunned. That’s the last thing that I thought she was going to say,” he said. “In fact, the Muslims don’t hate anyone.”
Another protest took place in California this week and ended with a large fight breaking out between the “pride” protesters and anti-grooming crowd.
Similar to the Maryland protest, the California demonstration was comprised of a diverse crowd including many Armenian immigrants fed up with the sexualization of American children.
The establishment’s over-the-top LGBT agenda being forced onto the masses is quickly awakening a sleeping giant.
