Actor Tom Hanks depicted a racist MAGA supporter afraid of shaking hands with a black man during Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary show over the weekend.
The liberal Forrest Gump star appeared briefly during a “Black Jeopardy” skit, where he wore a MAGA hat and encouraged people to attend church — before proceeding to awkwardly refuse a hand shake from the show’s black host.
After all that, the stunt fell flat, barely drawing a few chuckles from the audience.
Hanks was blasted by conservatives on social media for the tone-deaf racist parody.
I wouldn't mind as much if they made fun of everyone, but they only depict MAGA as racist even though studies show black Democrats are the most racist.

Hanks was evidently reprising a racist Trump supporter character he first played on SNL in Oct. 2016, when the character made slightly more sense before Trump gained major support among black voters in 2024.
The skit’s poor reception highlights just how out of touch with reality the liberal elite establishment really is, still reeling from Trump’s shellacking and struggling to maintain their narrative despite the American people’s overwhelming mandate.
