Footage going viral on social media appears to show Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris struggling to answer a simple question from a reporter, with many asserting it illustrates why she refuses to give press interviews.
The clip from April featured a Spectrum News reporter asking Kamala what she thought would happen to DEI programs and race relations under a second Donald Trump presidency.
Rather than directly answer the question, a frazzled Harris instead gave a meandering response about the history of diversity in the United States.

The clip resurfaced on social media following Harris’ coronation at the DNC last week, with many characterizing it as “hard to watch” and suggesting this is the reason Harris is being kept from holding a press conference or speaking to reporters.
