Weird! NFL’s Damar Hamlin Refuses To Reveal Why His Heart Suddenly Stopped

In an interview with Fox News‘ Michael Strahan that aired before Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin oddly refused to explain why doctors said his heart stopped during his on-field collapse in January.

Strahan asked the player “the question on so many minds,” which was what could cause a healthy young athlete’s heart to suddenly stop beating?

“How did doctors describe what happened to you?” Strahan asked.

After pausing for over ten seconds, Hamlin said, “Umm… that’s something I want to stay away from.”

The edited interview continued without Strahan pressing Hamlin on the cause of his health scare and instead asking next if NFL doctors ever found any irregularities in the numerous tests they’ve done throughout the years.

“Honestly, no. I’ve always been a healthy, young, fit, energetic human being,” Hamlin said. “We’re still processing and I’m still talking through it with my doctors just to see what everything was.”

With no official cause of the near-death incident ever being revealed, mainstream media pundits and their medical contributors are sticking to the claim that the collapse took place due to commotio cordis.

The strange avoidance of the elephant in the room question caused the video clip to go viral online.
