The White House characterized Republican governors sending illegal aliens to Democrat-led cities as “smugglers” on Friday.
“These are the kinds of tactics we see from smugglers in places like Mexico and Guatemala,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said during a press briefing.

Republican Governors Ron DeSantis (Fla.) and Greg Abbott (Texas) sent groups of illegal aliens to Washington, D.C. and Martha’s Vineyard to bring attention to the collapsed southern border and force Democrats to walk back their “diversity is our strength” talking point.
50 people is too many for the Democrats in Martha’s Vineyard but they call all the border states racists for not wanting to take in millions of them. Amazing to hear their cognitive dissonance so clearly. https://t.co/IeMBHKOQrD

The illegals were deported from Martha’s Vineyard within 48 hours of arriving there.
The political statement prompted Jean-Pierre to compare them to human traffickers in a vicious diatribe, accusing them of “sowing chaos and division” by transporting migrants, which she called “abhorrent” and “inhumane.”
“They used them as political pawns, treated them like chattel in a cruel premeditated political stunt,” she said.
“This is dangerous. They’re putting children’s lives at risk,” she added.
Jean-Pierre offered no solutions to the collapsed southern border that’s resulting in these unsustainable inflows of illegal aliens in the first place, instead she blamed Republicans for the border crisis.
“This could end if they could stop playing that game and stop creating chaos,” she said.
DeSantis and Abbott have notably taken a page from Biden’s own migrant policy of shipping thousands of illegal aliens across the country in the dead of night over the last two years.

About 5 million illegal aliens have crossed into the United States since Biden captured the White House, according to the The Federation for American Immigration Reform.
