Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, whose term in office has expired, proposed a ‘victory plan’ in his war against Russia. The plan offers no compromises with his adversary, Russia, as well as includes an immediate invitation to join NATO, a move many believe will trigger nuclear war.
In the actor-turned-ruler’s ‘performance’ to the Ukrainian parliament on Wednesday, Zelensky laid out a series of demands within the plan which consists of eight points, three of which are classified, according to RT.
“However, he [Zelensky] stressed that this outcome is possible only if Kiev rules out any compromises with Russia and receives full support from the West,” RT said Wednesday.
According to RT, the Ukrainian ruler demanded that Ukraine be able to immediately join NATO, receive Western assistance to make Ukraine’s offensive capabilities more powerful, including access to foreign-made long-range weapons to strike Russia with, continued Ukrainian invasions of Russia, a ‘comprehensive non-nuclear strategic deterrence package’, joint [Western] protection of the critical resources of Ukraine, as well as Ukraine sharing it’s ‘battlefield experience’ with Western countries to ‘strengthen NATO’ against Russia. Three more points are classified.
“Most likely, it’s the same American plan to keep fighting a war with us to the last Ukrainian, which Zelensky has camouflaged and now calls a peace plan,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said according to RT on Wednesday.
