A shooting at a bank conference room in downtown Louisville, Kentucky on Monday left 5 dead and 6 injured, including the shooter.
The shooter has reportedly been identified as 25-year-old Connor Sturgeon, an employee at Old National Bank.
Sturgeon had texted a friend that he was suicidal and “would shoot up the bank,” and had left an ominous warning on social media, according to Intel Point Alert.

Sturgeon’s LinkedIn profile shows he used “he/him” pronouns indicative of a leftist.
And because that’s the case, the mainstream media likely won’t provide much coverage on the shooting, but they’ll still likely use the shooting to call for more gun control.
Louisville Metro Police Deputy Chief Paul Humphrey told reporters the shooter had been “neutralized.”
