The family of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz are supporting his political rival former President Donald Trump in November, a leaked photo reveals.

A friend of the family shared the photo with a representative for former Nebraska gubernatorial candidate Charles W. Herbster, who posted the image on X Wednesday.
“Tim Walz’s family back in Nebraska wants you to know something…” Herbster captioned the image.
“Those in the image are members of the Minnesota governor’s family through his grandfather’s brother, the Herbster contact confirmed to DailyMail.com the individuals’ identities and relation to Gov. Walz,” the Daily Mail reported.
The defection of Walz family members turning to Trump comes after Walz’s brother Jeff Walz came out against the Minnesota governor, claiming he “is not the type of character” Americans want in the White House.
“The stories I could tell,” he stated in one Facebook post over the weekend.
“Haven’t spoke to him in 8 years. I’m 100% opposed to all his ideology. My family wasn’t given any notice [that] he was selected and denied security the days after,” Jeff Walz wrote in another Facebook post, in response to a comment that he should “have a talk” with his brother.
In another post he said he had “thought hard” about openly endorsing Trump, and clearly suggested his brother is not vice-president material.
“I’ve thought hard about doing something like that! I’m torn between that and just keeping my family out of it. The stories I could tell. Not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”
