Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) employees are considering fleeing America out of fear Donald Trump might prosecute them if he’s re-elected, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe told CNN this week.

The fed-turned-CNN contributor claimed Trump is going to seek vengeance if he again takes the White House, and that he “runs the risk of really dismantling and greatly incapacitating the Department of Justice and FBI.”

While McCabe suggested Americans “should be worried about” the FBI and DOJ being incapacitated, millions of citizens would actually love to see corrupt individuals within the federal government investigated and brought to justice.

“We depend on those institutions to protect us, and he is proposing to tear them down,” McCabe cried.

CNN‘s Kaitlan Collins asked the former FBI deputy director how agents and other Bureau employees feel about Trump being re-elected, and he answered, “It’s terrifying. It’s frightening. I have a lot of conversations with former colleagues, people who are or were in the intelligence and law enforcement community and may have worked in the Obama administration and other places.”

McCabe continued, “People are really trying to assess, ‘What is life going to be like if Donald Trump wins a second term?’ On a very personal level, I mean these are torturous discussions with their family members about whether or not they have to leave the country to avoid being unconstitutionally and illegally detained. I mean people are actually worried about being thrown in jail or grabbed in some sort of extrajudicial detention.”

Meanwhile, the Biden administration’s State Department prevented former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter from boarding a flight from New York to Istanbul this week and allegedly confiscated his passport.

Ritter was heading to Russia for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum where he was scheduled to appear as a guest speaker.

President Trump had previously stated his “revenge will be success” but recently changed his tune, perhaps due to his ridiculous 34-count felony conviction.

On Wednesday, Trump told Newsmax “it’s very possible that” prosecutions of corrupt Democrats are “gonna have to happen.”

Regarding Trump going after criminal elements within the federal government, internet users supported the concept and slammed McCabe for clearly fearing legitimate retribution.
